For all the renditions of Carly Rae Jepsen’s “Call Me Maybe” there are on the Interwebs these days (like have you seen THIS one with the Miami Dolphins cheerleaders??) it shouldn’t come as a surprise to see other YouTubers do their own versions of it as well.
But I don’t think I could’ve been prepared for THIS one. Tay Zonday where have you BEEN and what have you DONE???
The lovely Nat & Marie sent me and sexy camera man @JHuze to Canadian Music Week. I jammed out at the Saul Williams show at the Great Hall which also featured South African artist Spoek Mathamba and of course Canadian Polaris Prize nominee Cadence Weapon a.k.a. Rollie Pemberton.
I had a chance to talk with Rollie after his set and we got onto the topic of memes…and he don’t like em at all.
