If the hot pink background, leopard print fonts, the glitterized statements or even LMFAO’s I’m Sexy and I Know it blaring in the background doesn’t render you speechless, perhaps her maybe-endearing-mostly-bizarre comments that her main inspiration is Legally Blonde’s fictional character, Elle Woods, will prompt a very solid facepalm as you realize THIS is what American politics has evolved into. And clearly this is why Mindy Meyer has also been trending in the US this week.

We still can’t decide whether Meyer, a 22-year-old, Orthodox Jewish woman attending law school at Touro College, is REALLY running for NY State Senate, or is part of a larger viral campaign that involves trolling the American political system.

Although with the amount of media coverage she’s received from notable media sources like CNN, ABC and New York Times it’s beginning to look more and more like Meyer is the real deal and she’s gonna fight to be “Diva of the District.”

For all we know, maybe she stands a chance in this day and age. Heck, if Elle Woods brought pink to Harvard, why couldn’t Meyer bring pink to the senate?

All I gotta say is I hold a bit of a soft spot for her cause: a) she’s not running for politics in Canada so thumbs up for that, and b) she makes a Hunger Games reference in her “Issues” section. That’s pretty hilarious in my books LOL

Infamous-because-of-his-pops North Korean dictator leader, Kim Jong-Un, has popped up on a billboard in LA for AshleyMadison.com, reports LAist.com. For anyone who’s not familiar with Ashley Madison, it’s a dating site for…adulterers. In the biblical sense ;)

Ashley Madison is a brand that obviously has no problems pushing a few boundaries, so why not put a mug of Kim Jong-Un’s face on their latest ad? It was just recently announced that he was off the market, which is likely what put him as the front-runner as the newest poster boy.

And heck, as the billboard says: “Affairs Now Guaranteed…Even if you look like HIM.”

Look like who, an overweight Asian guy? Now wait…that’s not very nice.

Our season finale was truly our most fashionable episode. Not only were the Pavlyn Boutique girls here we also had model/jewellery designer/makeup artist Myles Sexton in the studio. 

This man is FIERCE with a CAPITAL F! But he’s also super nice and down to earth and relatable and humble and shy and awesome and we just can’t get enough of him. Check his pics on his site to see all the androgenous goodness.

This past week was our Season Finale, and it was a very fashionalble show as we had  Anna and Maria the lovely ladies behind Pavlyn Boutique on the show.

These girls started this amazing website that allows us Canadian girls to purchase those trendy celeb items that we see all over the magazines. They make it easy for your to dress like your fave Kardashian or Hills star!

Here’s the deal, if Yahoo! is progressive enough to hire a pregnant woman as their CEO, then they are probably down with whatever she’s going to bring to the table.

The funny thing about feminism is that it asks the general population to adopt progressive ways of thinking about women’s role in society. And sometimes that means respecting that a woman has the power of free will - so if Marissa Mayers wants to take 2 weeks or 1-year, that’s her choice. 

It seems like people are just looking for something to complain about these days. It’s the Internet! Just do what most of us do, downvote some random stuff on reddit, make fun of the pedophiles on Habbo Hotel or if you’re really the lowest of the low, go comment on YouTube videos for sport. 

See, I bet you’ve already forgotten that Marissa Mayers is duplicating her genetic code.
